On September 2, 2022, WellCare joined the regional academic salon “Hemorrhoid Band Ligation Treatment Exchange Conference” in Shanghai, hosted by the Association of Coloproctology of Shanghai.

The meeting brought together 30 + anorectal specialists from leading hospitals across the city. Discussions ranged from optimal treatment pathways for hemorrhoids and comprehensive analyses of ligation techniques, to anaesthesia protocols and postoperative pain management for perianal disease. Speakers showcased the latest theories, technologies, and clinical practices shaping the future of hemorrhoid band ligation.

Invited experts shared extensive clinical data gained from long‑term use of the ATH system. Their findings offer valuable support for standardising ATH‑driven ligation procedures and set a benchmark for best practice in the field.
